Appreciation of the Past Year, Anticipation for the New Year

Hola BEAUTIFUL Readers!

We’re graced by another year. How are you doing? I hope you had a wonderful yet safe Christmas and New Year celebrations with your family amidst the pandemic. Though the world is currently troubled, it is my wish that your hearts were filled with joy being surrounded by the people you love. 🙏

As we welcome the new year, we can’t escape reminiscing about the one that just left us. If there’s one word that could describe what I feel about 2021, it’s gratitude. I’m full of gratitude for every single day that I get to wake up, every single day that I consider a new life, every single day that is a blessing. The mere fact that I could say “thank you” a hundred times over in less than an hour from the moment I wake up every morning is already a step in the right direction of positivity throughout the day. Aside from that, I feel a lot of appreciation that despite the global situation, my family remains safe, healthy, and intact. I could wish for nothing more.

On another note, some chapters of my life closed, but multiple doors opened in its place - doors that are more aligned with my personal and professional goals. I can’t stress enough how powerful prayer is because it will lead you to your path, specifically designed for you by the Higher Being. Of course, there will be bumps along the way, but those bumps are essential for your growth - growth that will prepare you for your wildest dreams. In the end, what I can say is something that’s overused but rings true: leave all the negative things behind that’s happened and welcome the new year with an open heart.

Going back to my opened doors, I’m excited for the new partnerships that will bring HERstory S.V.R. to new heights this year! It will be something good for all of us, so just hang in there until we can give you further updates about it.

On a more personal note, any parent wants the best for their children, so I would like to share something that I wish to achieve this year for my daughter. Due to the remote learning setup of students for the past two years, I’d like to be able to guide my daughter in developing her social skills when it comes to making friends. So, I’ll find time and ways to coordinate with my fellow mothers to organize playdates with our children - of course, only when the pandemic has settled a bit more.

It’s unfortunate that the active cases of COVID-19 are rising to alarming rates. I remain to wish, hope, and pray for everyone’s safety. I also hope that all your new year’s resolutions will be achieved. Just remember that whatever it is you set your heart and mind to, as long as you are driven and that there is no shadow of doubt that you can achieve it, there’s absolutely no reason for you to fail. My beautiful readers, the only limitation that you have is your mind. Believe in yourself and don’t lose faith. 💛

I wish you all a happy and blessed new year! ❤️💙💛

With love,
